WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU LOSE YOUR PET
Put up posters in your local stores! The best results come from picture posters.
-Call your local town clerk/animal control officer and those in surrounding towns to let them know that your pet is
missing. All stray dogs go directly to the A.C.O. of each town and are held for a few days.
-Check out our Lost & Found Page please submit your information to the shelter and we will add it to our page.
We can direct you to your local dog officer if the town clerk is closed. We will take a description of the animal and
log it into our lost/found book. We also have a lost/found board where you can post a poster with the animal’s
photo. Please also send it to vermonttravel2002@yahoo.com for additional website posting.
Call your friends and neighbours. Tell everyone that will listen.
-Call the local veterinarians to see if your pet has been brought in injured.
REMEMBER! Put your dogs’ tags on their collars, IT’S NOT JUST SMART, IT’S THE LAW!
Frontier Animal has placed hundreds of homeless animals over the years and we have loved every minute of it
but it is much easier for us to track down an owner of an animal with a rabies tag or dog license number. Thank
you to all who support us and have adopted one of our “homeless “ babies’s and has given them a forever home.
