| We are always needing good clean items for our yard sales. If you have something you would like to donate - you can drop it by any morning between 9 am - 12 noon. No clothing, shoes, computers or exercise equipment - We just can't seem to sell them and we hate throwing things away. Thanks for your help. Call 754-2228 if you have questions. |
Important Changes to Shaw's Receipt Program.
We are no longer collecting Shaw's receipts, but you can still
raise money for FAS with your purchases. Simply register your
Shaw's reward card annually on line at
www.shaws.com/neighborhoodrewards or call 1-877-932-7948.
Specify that your purchases be credited to FAS (ID number
49001018888. One percent of purchases made Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday will automatically be credited to FAS.
This program has been
very successful for our shelter so tell your friends, family and
co-workers to participate and help raise money for the shelter.

| Scavenger Hunt August 8th Cost to play $25.00 each...1st Prize $1,000.00 Lots and lots of other prizes – from food to cash to admissions to events – tons of chances to win and definitely to have fun. Pick up your bag of tools at either the shelter in Orleans, Vt. or the Gateway in Newport, Vt. on Aug. 8 – available at 3 pm. You must return your found treasures (yup, you find them) by 7 pm at the Gateway in Newport. (Your bag of tools will be self- explanatory – no worries, but you must not be late returning – nothing accepted after 7 pm. Your ticket includes an evening of fun plus music, prizes, silent auction, games, entertainment & great food. (Cash bar available) But, you need to have purchased a ticket to attend so don’t miss out – even if you don’t want to hunt, you will love the rewards and prizes you can win $25.00 donation for our shelter animals.
